The Green Infrastructure and Power Investments consortium was set up to be a fully integrated sustainability-focused energy player, leaning towards gas infrastructure investments as well as clean energy manufacturing and electrification projects. The Consortium comprises of a number of Chinese State Owned Entities (SOE) companies as well as a number of international market players working in unison to support the energy industry and boost the Nigerian economy.

A Gas to power generation on approximately twenty (20) hectares with projected installed capacity of up to 3,560 MW.

The WEST AFRICAN CLEAN ENERGY HUB will generate a total of 3,560 MW of power to over two million households and industries across Nigeria and the West African region in phases.
Milestone Achievement: Phase 1 Targets 1,000 MW by Q4 2025
Phase 1 of the project will see the project deliver the first 1000 MW by the end of Q4 2025.
Global Energy Leader: The Seventh Largest Natural Gas Power Plant
At 3,560 MW installed capacity, The WEST AFRICAN CLEAN ENERGY HUB will be the seventh biggest natural gas power plant in the world.
